Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026In short: we don’t collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
1. Data stored on your device
Reassure Me stores your checklist items, your check history, your medications, your notes and your settings on your iPhone, using Apple’s standard secure storage. This data is shared only with Reassure Me’s own widgets on the same device.
We have no access to this data. It never reaches our servers; we don’t run any.
2. Apple Watch
If you use the Reassure Me Apple Watch app, your checklist and its status are sent directly between your iPhone and your paired Apple Watch using Apple’s built-in connection between the two devices. The data doesn’t pass through us.
3. iCloud sync (optional)
iCloud sync is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, your checklist items, medications and your most recent history entries are saved in your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud storage, so they can appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
This data is stored by Apple under Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy. We can’t see or access it.
4. Camera and photos
Reassure Me uses the camera only when you choose to add a photo to a check. Photos are kept on your device. They aren’t uploaded, shared or synced.
5. Face ID
If you turn on App Lock, Reassure Me asks iOS to confirm it’s you with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. This happens entirely within iOS. The app only receives a yes or no answer and never has access to your face or fingerprint data.
6. Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent to us.
7. Siri and Shortcuts
If you ask Siri something like „Did I do it in Reassure Me?”, the answer comes from the data on your device. Siri requests are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
8. Purchases
If you buy Reassure Me Pro, the payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. We only learn, from Apple, whether Pro is active on your device.
9. Third-party services
Reassure Me doesn’t include third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The only external services involved are Apple’s (iCloud, the App Store, Siri, Apple Watch), and only when you use those features.
10. Deleting your data
- In the app: Settings → Erase All Data removes everything stored by Reassure Me on your device. If iCloud sync is on, it also removes the copy stored in your iCloud.
- Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device.
- Because we don’t hold any of your data, there’s nothing for us to delete on our side.
11. Children
Reassure Me isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update it on this page and change the „Last updated” date above.
